kitchens counter decision

I am having my kitchen redone and can not decide on the counter. I plan on going with the wilsonart laminate bianco romano, golden romano or autumn carnival. The autumn has a softer look but a bit greyer than I think will go good with the creamy beige I want to paint the wall. The golden romano is my favorite, but I was told I might get sick of it and should go with the autumn carnival. I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on my predicament I have to decide soon.

The two romanos are the smaller samples

The right looks best with the paint.

I keep thinking if the only movement is in the counter, it should not be too busy. Thank you all for your opinions

Is the floor in the photo in the room that you are decorating? If the floor in the picture will be in the same room I suggest it needs to be considered also as it is a fixed element.

Here are my personal recommendations based on the floor, cabinet and counter all being in the same space: The counter samples on the left and in the middle go best with the flooring and cabinet color but an adjustment of paint color would be necessary if you were to use these. I would suggest a neutral with a slight green/gray undertone. If the floor color is not a factor then the counter sample on the right would be most cohesive with the cabinetry and the paint you've chosen. If your home is older and you have warm colors throughout you might want to stick to the combination on the right as two on the left are much cooler and would work better with white trims. On another note - stainless hardware would help to tie the floor's cooler tones in nicely.

The piece of wood at the bottom of the pic is a piece of wood from the floor with a natural stain at one end and a slightly tinted stain on the other. I haven't decided on which to use yet. Yes, I do have warm colors throughout my home.

    Thank you so much.

The sample on the right. Honestly I would prefer a more monotone color. Your cabinet door looks busy to me with it's big dark stripe. What is the cabinetry so we can look it up?

    Hickory

I took a peek at three of the cabinets. They are boxed up in my living room at the moment. There doesn't seem to be as much contrast as with the door. But there will be some since it is hickory.

I think that your choice depends on your preferences. Choose granite on the far right if you tend toward monochromatic looks.

The furthest on the right will accentuate the color of the cabinets which is beautiful. That would be my preference.

I am of the mind that you don't have to "match colors" together but compliment each other. Your wood cabinets look great and probably could be the star of the show, just go for a subtle pattern laminate, and i think a cool tone would be awesome

I like the one the furthest left

I agree, the counter on the left, with a change in paint color. The one on the far right is just too busy. I am assuming you want a calm serene space?

I like the one on the left - a very clean look! The one on the right works if u love that rust color and want that look.

Look at a very soft & light green/grey/white color. I just did the color in my conservatory and it is wonderful. I'm not sure it is this exact color, but something similar

The first or the second because they have the most white in them. The last one you will get tired of more easily.

They are all very busy. I'd like to see something much quieter, maybe a dark brown or black with a more muted pattern.

I would definitely say the middle option out of the three, but agree with Diana above that you could go with something less patterned. The middle one has a nice brightness to it!

Thank you all so much!!! I'm so glad I asked.

I agree with either #1 or #2. I'd also suggest playing around with some different paint samples.
