I would look for something else. Is the granite already installed? None of these backslashes go with granite.

I don't think any of these look good. Since the granite has a lot of color and movement, I think a more simple, single color backsplash would look better.

I agree with the previous posters that none of those are a good match. Don't be discouraged though since there are so many choices available.

You have "small" choices. Go with a bigger tile.

i would choose #1 or #3. not sure i agree that they are bad choices. i do agree that if we saw more of the space it could help put into perspective. good luck :)

I agree with others. The granite has such a warm tone to it that the choices just don't mesh with it.

I have just spent the day looking at tiles for our backsplash, so I understand your dilemma. However, I feel the mosaics you have picked out are too modern for your kitchen. Your cabinets are traditional (and very beautiful, BTW). I would like to see a larger format glass subway tile instead of the small busy patterns you are considering.

Keep looking. I brought home 42 different samples over a two-week period before I found the right one.

I think a 4x4 tumbled stone tile, very simple with perhaps some deco tiles here and there would be awesome.

I wanted to do something fun above the stove where the pot filler will go. I will ck a tile shop.

I agree none work well. 1 and 3are way too white and the other is too dark. You have done a great job . I would rethink a feature area, it might be too busy and detract from the lovely cabinets.

Have you thought about a very dark grey, charcoal or even simple black tile...maybe a subway style tile in black. I think a glossy tile larger than the 3 you show in photo. Since your cabinets are a light color and the counter, I do believe a black high gloss tile back splash would look great. good luck!

I agree with a lot of the comments above - your choices don't work with the counter or the rest of the kitchen. Since the counter is so busy you need something bigger/simpler. It's a beautiful kitchen and I'm sure you'll figure out a better choice.

Beautiful kitchen, classic soft, elegant. Choose a larger format traditional that doesn't compete but compliments the existing elements. I think a colour from the granite that is lighter than the cabinets, maybe with very mild variations in colour. You could add just a thin strip -1"- of glass in a mid tone from the granite, like piping on an elegant sofa. Try samples of different sheen from honed to high gloss. If you choose a rectangular (2x6 or 3x8) you could make a square frame with your contrast band above the range and infill with the main tile in a herringbone pattern- again highlighting but not competing with the pot filler.

I don't suggest glass tile..they are sometimes hard to line up with light & shadows showing through the glass. Try a larger format subway porcelain tile. Very beautiful kitchen. Make your choice carefully, don't rush it.

Be sure to add under cabinet LED lighting.

I would do white subway with grey grout and under cabinet lighting. Subtle- lets your granite be the star and is timeless.

Your kitchen is gorgeous! To add some depth and pick up the darker vein in your counters, we would recommend a dark grey large format subway tile.

It may seem like an easy option to select tile backsplash from a very generic style, from places like Home Depot or Lowes. You might be surprised that getting a custom tile that works perfectly won't break the bank, and won't limit your options.
For our Crosstown Vancouver renovation, we went with a custom glass herringbone backsplash. We did this in a contrasting bright colour, which I might not recommend for your style kitchen (from what I can tell in the photo), However the glass tile with a pattern like this really brings the space to life. I suggest a light grey or white glass tile. Check out Interstyle as a source.
