Is that a bar? do you use it? If not I would remove it

Here are some options for wall art.

Haven't move in yet. I was planning on keep the bar. Do you have any ideas of what to put instead of the bar? The tile is horrible, so I would want to change it. Love the idea you sent me @outshopping422 Would also like to change what is on the fire place. I sort of like the floor tile. Want to work with that. I think there is a breakfast area next to the bar, not sure if that is needed. Looking for ideas to pull it all together.

Soosun2 - what wall would you put the TV on? Above the fire place? What wall would you place the chairs?

Here are other angles of the entire area. It's pretty much a long L. Want to have it as flowing as possible,

I could see a sectional placed facing the fireplace. One upholstered chair with table. Floor lamp lighting. Bar stools for your island. Third photo has a comfortable sofa that could be placed facing the fireplace and two upholstered chairs. You could have a picture above your fireplace or the television. An area rug to pull all the seating together and for comfort. You have a lot of warm in this room, you could go for cooler colors, blues and greens to bring the outdoors in in a rug.

I love your floor tiles, they're unique. I imagine hard walking on in bare feet so area rugs. You would have two dining spaces on either side of this fireplace area, as I see it. Lots of windows which is great to take advantage of. Because of the lighting, you could paint that bar a deep color, that complements the rest of the room.
