I guess it does date it a little but if it's a bedroom and you use the mirrors as you dress, I 'd keep it . Not too many people see your bedroom. If it's a more public room, maybe change. Removing the mirrors may change the light in the room, though

I personally like mirrored closet doors - they come in handy and give the doors some weight and light reflection.

We replaced our mirrored sliding closet doors because we found it frustrating to only be able to see half the closet at a time. We replaced them with bifold doors, which don't take up much space in front of the closet, but allow you to see the entire closet at once. We mounted a mirror on the back of the bedroom entrance door to compensate for the loss of mirrored closet doors.
