ron, what can I say. It takes on a whole new look. I don't think I have any more snow photos. I did post some several years ago on GW. Probably still there but finding them...

Gorgeous healthy specimens as usual; but the ROCKS (WOW), where do you find these. Are there also driftwood in your landscape design? Is my eyes playing tricks on me (LOL)? Thank you Dave for the eye candy. Each one more motivational than the next. I have so driftwood in mine too; besides having a love for ROCKS, to hardscape the beautiful conifers --- no where near your specimen beauty thou. Cheers, p.s.: like Ron; would like to see some snow pics, I have tried to find old posting to see --- no luck yet. (LOL)

I see driftwood in gardens around here quite often. The beaches here in Puget Sound have a lot of it. Using driftwood, stumps, and logs might seem strange to most people not living near salt water, but it seems to work design wise. Not in a formal setting of course.

I strive for the natural look. I realize I am far from it. A work in progress. In time more boulders wood and ground covers will help achieve this.

Thank you Dave; how absolutely magical and bewitching scene, a wonderland. Each conifer is like a sculpture with the dusting of snows on the limbs; all deciduous maples and trees giving that architectural feature without all its leaves of branching. You're doing something right; it's so pristine, I don't even see one wildlife paw, hoof, or any type of critters in the snow --- the definition of snow coverage paths to wander and lead you to one enticing and tranquil spot of the garden to another. Thank you for sharing my request for a winter snow pic. Cheers, p.s.: A hot cocoa or hot toddy for a leisure stroll thru your garden (LOL) -- rather a "hot toddy" (haha).

Oh my gosh I love to look at your garden, Dave. Sometimes I think I just want to take one little section of yours and copy it plant for plant in one of my little areas. What's the tall skinny bright lime green one behind the (I think?) globe blue spruce?

I figure if I can afford to, I'll buy 4-5 more things this year and then only have 2/3 of my front bed bare, hehe. Patience! I'm getting better at it.
