Hi it's a beautiful door. Can you tell me which mahogany is it? The one that comes from Africa?

bbm579 - Thanks for your inquiry. The door was custom made for our project in Central America by Sabana Windows and Doors. I suggest you check with them regarding the origin of the species for their current production. Emily, I believe the door company, Sabana Windows and Doors, used Santos Mahogany for this project. Please check their website or contact them for specific details. We also applied a stain and protective finish (Siikens #009) to help the door withstand the outdoor elements (heat, sun and cold). Best of luck with your project!!!!
