We are selecting cabinets for kitchen and trying to decide between a lazy susan corner cabinet and pull out corner drawers...whats the best option?

100% personal preference. What do you want to store in the corner?

Whenever I see those corner drawers, I think of major dust collector.

I have the 36" Super Susan and I absolutely love it! On my other corner, I have a blind with a half Lazy Susan, I like that one too, but it doesn't hold nearly as much.

I agree that it depends on what you intend to store there. I keep big things like the big soup pot, the crock pot, the wok, and food processor there. None of those are going to fall off a shelf and it's a great place to tuck them away. If you're thinking of can storage or smaller items, perhaps a drawer would be better.

Super susan, not lazy susan. The difference is that a lazy susan is supported on a center pole, which limits both how you arrange things, and how much weight it can hold. a super susan has turntables mounted on shelves, no pole.

I have a super susan in an angled cabinet, with a drawer above. The SS holds all my small appliances, as well as large colanders. I'm pretty sure all of those things would not fir in the drawers StarCraft showed - there is too much wasted space along the sides of the drawers.

Stan asked the most important question - the best corner solution for you depends on your specific storage needs.

A third alternative is to close off the corner completely. I have two corners - one has the SS, the other is empty, with drawers on each side. I studied the problem long and hard, and of all the corner solutions I examined, closing the corner off made the most sense for me, on that side of the kitchen.

    Ditto AnnKH.

I dead-corner mine so I could put in a frequently used 3-drawer base cabinet.

I have a the Ikea ?corner cabinet (it pulls out very long), and I wish I had Dead-corner that side also and just put in a 18" 3-drawer base cabinet. I hardly use the blind corner pull out.

the super susan or lazy susan cabinet is fantastic for storing small appliances.

I saw a cool corner solution in a reveal post by Deedles last night, she used drawers that slide out with pull out shelves in the dead space. It may be worth checking out, scroll down through the photos. Link: corner solution
