My new home's floorplan will have a kitchen open to the dining room, followed by the family room. Generally the house is white with black trim with pops of color in the furniture. The kitchen will have white cabinets and black stone countertops.

The design dilemma is what counter stool to use. I am looking for something with a low back so it's not visible from the kitchen looking out to the rest of the house.

I'd love to go for counter stools in a color other than black because with black Wishbone dining chairs and black countertops that seems to be too much black. The question for me then is, what color? Here is a collage of the red/orange elements in the entire area:
