I think the second has more utility, lots of style, size. I could imagine getting tired of the first. The second is more casual. Can't see what the rest of your space is but the first has such a strong look, I think everything else in the room would need to be very stylish and complementary to this table.

love the white marble but what is in the background room? If dark I would go with the black table to tie it in. Can you paint the background walls white?

I also think the first deserves a better space than coffee table. I could see it directly in front of the fireplace with a contrasting rug beneath. A silver tea set, or beautiful tray with colorful objects on it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do plan to have an area rug which I am searching for a light grey with some pattern, but if I go with white marble it will go almost in front of my fireplace with colorful object. This is a different view.

I love both coffee tables! What about a rug like this?

My personal choice, since the sectional does not appear to have legs, would be the coffee table with legs.
