Beautiful home! I'm partial to painted brick and think your home would look fabulous coated with a beige paint to keep the rick textures and allow the stone to pop. Caution though when painting any brick you must use a brick primer. I prefer Dry Proof Masonry Water Protector prior to painting.

With that stone, you should choose a brick that is all 1 color (rather than the widely varied tones of the example) and also in the same color family - yellow/tan/brown rather than rust or rose (like the example). For Acme, I assumed you lived in TX and selected Hampton or Elderwood.

HOWEVER, I feel the stone would look much better if the rest of the house were stucco rather than brick. I'd recommend that....and also ask the builder to design stone trim for the windows and other trimmed openings. The stucco can be painted any neutral color and will complement the stone much better.

Thank you Gina! I agree with you on the painted or perhaps a limestone wash. However, my husband is passionately against doing something like that at this time. I think the idea will grow on him in time after we have owned the home for a year or two.

Any thoughts on a standard brick that would compliment the Milsap stone?

Possibly the CBC Davenport. The brick in the picture you posted looks fine, do you know the color? With the ACME website I could not choose a color because it first wanted to know the brick size and location.

It would be better if you could pick a few colors you like and ask people to vote on them.

I dislike brick and stone mixed I think they fight eachother IMO all stone would be nice
