Paint them the same color as the wall to make them visually "disappear".

What about painting the front entry door slab a dark color, possibly to match your dark brown furniture. This might help to emphasize the entry and might help with the look. This is just an idea - not sure if this will help. Hopefully you will get some more comments on this. Best of luck on your project!

Thanks all. Glenview, I think what you see is a small rug inside the door. Elaine - would you also paint the trim around the door? I almost think that would look like I am trying to cover them up. Do you have an example picture? Have you tried it?

I would leave as is the photo viewing from the living rooms looks very peaceful. It flows and they blend in. Adding to them may just bring attention to them.

You should definitely leave them as is. Putting art above them or painting them different colors will draw more attention to them. All the doors/woodwork should match (with the exception of the front door if you wanted that to be different). I would change out that light fixture and put something a little nicer there. That flush mount light looks like a builder grade fixture. There are some nice flush mount fixtures out there.

I think if you added a new front door, all wood (similar in color to your cabinet and table) or wood and glass, it would dramatically change your space and would no longer look like a run of 4 identical doors, which is what I think is bothering you. Too much of the same look. You won't believe what a new front door will do for the look of your house, outside and in. A really beautiful entry will enhance your room. I also like maggys idea of a long runner in front of the three doors.

Hello! What a beautiful home! Love the open layout. Regarding the laundry and basement doors you could consider sliding doors with our Box Rail Bypass Sliding Hardware. Repurposed doors paired with brushed Stainless Steel Bypass Box Rail would be attractive and functional. Our Galvanized or Powder Coated Bypass Box Rail would look great too. You might even be able to find a door (or embellish a door yourself) for the garage that would complement the sliding doors while meeting any applicable building codes. Consider doors with a vintage decor or doors that feature timeless design elements that work with the rest of the room. Have fun with your project and good luck!

I was going to suggest changing up the light fixture, but Lindsay MacRae Interiors, LLC already had the same idea. The light fixture is just begging to be changed!

Definite NO to the artwork above the doors. Art is best appreciated "eye level".
