If the current finish is high gloss then lightly sand it first.

Clean and lightly sand! Spray paint the metal with Gold or Bronze Hammered finish spray paint. Lightly coat a few times. Then spray paint with the cheapest black flat spray paint you can find. Use denatured alcohol on a rag to wipe whatever black paint off to expose the metallic paint. Clear coat and enjoy!

Please remove the wallpaper, it really makes your kitchen look dated, even tho you have updated it.
