Hi Mona, if you don't mind my further advice on this - rooms look better with pairs (groupings of two). If you have the space I would recommend going with two matching side chairs and then adding a third different style chair in the mid-century modern style you like. The reason scroll arm and slipper chairs are usually paired with your style sofa is that they are the opposite of the closed arm of the Tuxedo style sofa - each of that style of side chair is open and softer looking which is a good fit with your sofa. You can also go for a more modern version of the slipper chair (see my first link) mid-century modern style:

Matching chairs are best. Then get a wingback chair in some other fabric.

Thanks! Our place won't be big enough for 3 additional chairs - so I'm just looking for 2 matching accent chairs now. I like the legs of the slipper chairs, but would prefer something with arms.

I like the Quinn chair for you. Please measure the heights of the seats and compare with the height of your sofa seat. If the seat heights are similar I think that is a good choice! Good job!
