Like the look of tile, hate the way they feel to my feet, especially in a space with a lot of standing.

I'd say you need the balance of matte with the shiny cabs. Do you have any pictures of the cabinets/tiles?

Im renovating my kitchen too with high gloss cabinets. I do really like the glossy floor tiles, they are really reflective and will brighten the space and they do have a richer look. I’m also considering a matte tile after talking to a few people about it. But I’m not as impressed with the tiles I’ve seen so far. Personally I think going for a semi shiny (halfway between the two) tile would best for a great modern contemporary look. Also if you are going modern get the bigger tiles and use the same color grout as the tile for a seamless look.

Would love to hear or see what you decide on. I am putting in a high gloss white kitchen but am also having trouble deciding on a tile. Can't find a matte one that I really like. Love the polished tiles but am also thinking it may be too much gloss.

I have seen a model that had both shiny floors & high gloss cabinets & it was stunning.
