I am not the one to give you suggestions about door and drawer hardware. There are 5 different styles of knobs/pulls in the kitchen we remodeled several years ago. As my husband is remodeling another kitchen for us, he commented that I should narrow the field to just one style this time. Today I dumped a whole bunch of hardware contenders in a folder on my computer even though we have not even ordered cabinets yet. I figured if I start early, I can choose just one when the time comes. Right?

I prefer all pulls but, definitely pulls on the lower if you want knobs use them on the top

Congrats. Hardware may be dependent on your overall design style. So, difficult to volunteer suggestions without a feel for the whole space.

For us - we only wanted pulls. We aren't very neat or perfect. With knobs, we found our fingers touch the cabinets more, thus more cleaning and wear. With pulls, a pinky is enough anywhere along the door/drawer. I do love the look of simple knobs though....

I chose knobs for wall cabinets and bin pulls for base cabinets. I was concerned initially about turning my hand upside down to open the drawers, but I loved the look and it has not been an issue. I also love my knobs, but I do have to wipe around them every great once-n-awhile because someone in the house must be grabbing the doors instead of the knobs! :-(
