As long as the cuttings get 12 or more hours of light.. natural,supplemental or both, they will root quite quickly with bottom heat and humidity.

It depends upon the Hoya and your growing environment. If its a winter blooming hoya then take clippings NOW during its growing season. If its a spring/summer bloomer and you are NOT in a cold/cool climate (Temps stay above 55 degrees) then you can do those now however its better to wait until the end of March when temps stay above 65 degrees to give them a better chances of rooting/survival. We are located in Southeast Florida and we just received several hundred rooted (barely) Hoyas three weeks ago. Our temps are just above always above 60 degrees and this year our coldest day was 51 degrees so the hoya we root just about all year long. However, they always do best when rooted in March.
