A recent Charity Project from last Spring

I was given these fabrics by the Service Committee of my Quilt Guild & asked to do something to put them together.

These are the Shirtings

There were also Liberty of London prints (the center square here), they were in charm squares:

playing around with arrangements:

auditioning different fabrics together.

Also there's the Featured Print. this Fuschia colored Liberty Print with this cream colored pigment printed overlay. It's a complex fabric with a woven Madras type plaid, intensely colored, finely woven cotton,

deciding on layouts, finalizing arrangements

Sometimes designing as you go along, that's how this went, fun.

Finished, bound, laundered. done.

Colors I wouldn't normally have gravitated towards. but am happy with the results.

got a little checkerboard crazy, that alone was fun!
