I see that in the pictures of your rose you grow them outside. Would it be better to grow mine outside in the ground or inside in a pot?

Roses do not do well for a long period of time indoors, because they are not indoor plants. They do fine in pots or in the ground outside. Just keep in mind that roses in pots require fertilization/rose food more often, since nutrients get washed away. In cold zones, some people overwinter roses in their garage when they are dormant. I'm from a warm climate, so I don't know how to advise on that subject. It depends on the variety as well, whether or not they need winter protection. Good luck. In zone 7 your best bet is to find a nice sunny spot in the garden and plant it. It will do fine for you with little or no protection during the winter if it's in the ground. If you leave it in a pot you'll have to winter protect it or garage it for winter.

If you can't get it outside and plant it yet just keep it evenly moist but not soggy wet and in a sunny window until you can take it outside. When the the weather warms up start taking it outside during the day and back inside at night for a while to get it used to being outside. When you can start digging in the ground go ahead and plant it out.

There is only one problem about growing my rose outside. I live in a apartment and the only way I've been able to grow anything is to grow plants in pots or buckets.

You can put it in a larger pot and grow it outside.
