What kind of trim was used between the wall and the floor?

We are looking to do this type of finish rather than baseboards, but are having difficulty finding a product to hide any imperfections where the hardwood will meet the wall. Any advice or product information would be very greatly appreciated!

Forest View Industries has a product called Bazik, which can achieve this reveal look - check out the website at http://forestviewindustries.com/zip-clik/

Are the hardwood floors floated, glued or nailed? How is the gap masked between the wall and the floor? What type of caulk is used?

    Hi Kyle,

The floors are nailed. The gap is provided by the metal holding the drywall above the plywood subfloor. We caulk the small gap between the metal and the wood with Sikkens black sealant. The aluminum shadow base is what delivers the look.

Thanks, Is this process easy to accomplish on a remodel with existing drywall?

No, not really, you can just cut the bottom of the drywall 1.5" from the floor.
