If you want to actually play, get Larry Fine's book "Piano Buyer" and then find out which piano brands are available from your local dealers. This is a baby grand. Buying a piano as a musical instrument takes time as not only do each brand have their own sound, but each individual piano has it's own sound. If you're just looking for a piano as a piece of furniture and have no expectation of playing, go on Craigslist and look for a new baby grand you like the look of. Price depends where you live. In my area a nice looking used baby grand from a private seller (no idea what it would sound like) can get as low as $700, though they're more likely to be at least $1,500 if one wanted a nice high gloss ebony finish. A nice sounding used baby grand will start around $11,000.
