Focal point corner

My house is A courtyard house. As you come into the courtyard to the left you see a bare corner. Also it is exposed to a main avenue and its noisy. I want an "L" corner 6" tall to block view from street. Also to build small outdoor BBQ and maybe a wall mounted water feature and small bench against this "L". I want it contemporary design. We're doing it ourselves
