I have recently done the exact same thing and think the overall effect is far more dramatic.

This is super cool! I'd been thinking about changing out all of the 6-panel doors in my home but this may be a great (and far less expensive) alternative.

Fefejo- I do agree professional painting is quicker and better but, you can get the same results, for alot less money, if you do it yourself. I chose the rolling method but I could have also used my Wagner sprayer. Thanks!
Weaver Home Photography- it looks awesome when you paint it. It is alot cheaper than buying new doors too. I used a total under 1 quart for all of the doors in my house. Pick a door or two and try it first if you are unsure but I think you will like it! Thanks for checking out my blog!
