My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Soapstone counters. There is a lot of reflection in this photo so it looks light, but is really a medium to dark gray depending on how much oil treatment you do. Different types (from different quarries) of soapstone has varying veining. It sometimes has green or blue tints too. Best of luck on your project!

    Thanks Heidi! Still can't believe that's our kitchen! I'd add that we chose Church Hill Reserve soapstone from Alberene (near Charlottesville, VA) - buying local was important to us.
