I have it in my lower level where my dogs are in and out all day from a dog run, we are in and out from the pool have had them for 8.5 yrs still look likenew and I would do it again if i moved.

Vinyl is great. Price can dictate quality....like anything. The wear layer is of the utmost importance. That being said, it is vinyl. If you want "real" then vinyl is no substitute. If you want "tough and handsome" vinyl will get you there everytime.

It really is all about personal taste and expectations. If you like it, you like it. If you don't then don't use it. Many people love their vinyl (Patricia is one of them...she owns both high end vinyl and high end laminate and loves both of them). There will always be a small group of people who don't like "mimics". Only you know that about yourself.
