Hi cgbtoo -- I'm so sorry, I love the look of glass too, but for several reasons I wouldn't do it here. Your gorgeous marble combined with bead board is such a classic look. Glass backsplashes are not from that era. It's such a smallish strip to fill that it would just look weird. What will finish this off beautifully, even if it seems a little boring, is white molding. Perhaps you can accessorise with some beautiful glass pieces. Any more photos of your space?

Here is another photo, Just finished painting the inside of the cabinets. Refinished doors will be ready in the next few days Then to pick the right hardware for them. Thank you for your suggestion I didn't even consider using a plain white trim. Will take a look on my next trip to HD.
