@emmarene what color floor would you suggest? Hmm I'll have to look at other faucet options. Do you think switching the sink for a more traditional sink would help the faucet look like it belongs more?

I agree that dramatic in a small room really works. I'd suggest going with two sconces one on each side of the mirror instead of the over mirror fixture.

I agree on the floor-- What about echoing the bright hue in the wall covering somehow?

I love the idea of two sconces, and had originally purchased them. We had to change the layout though and now have the vanity and toilet on the same wall. I thought it would look weird to have scones in between the vanity and toilet.

Nice choices. The faucet might be a problem with the sink you chose. The spout seems to 'shoot' water at an angle and you might have splashes all over the floor.

For the floor, if you are thinking of different colors, how about something metallic with gold specks in it. The wallpaper seems to have some gold in it.

I like the components but to be honest I don't see them all going together. The sink seems too modern and minimalist for the wallpaper and faucet. Do you have pics of your space you can share?

Could you sketch a little floor plan for us? When you say vanity do you mean just the sink?

The space is down to the studs so I don't have pictures to share at the moment. I totally agree with the comment about the floor so I need to find something new for that. I am set on the wallpaper and I want to have a brass finish for my faucet. We have a tight space and need a vanity that is 24 inches or smaller. I'm also concerned about the quality of the faucet above, so I'm in the market for faucet and sink suggestions. What kind off style do you think would go better? I'm just trying to find options that aren't crazy expensive. Do you think a console sink would look better? Maybe something like this instead?

The perception of a "dark colored room" being too dark is a facility of how the room is lit. Make sure that you have ample lighting and the room will be a sexy black room!

Most of all, remember who's going to be looking at that bathroom. Don't let the rest of us overwhelm or dissuade you... ;)

If room is tight I think a pedestal sink is a good idea. You do lose the storage under the vanity, but this is a powder room only. You can sit the extra tp on the back of the toilet. Have you bought the toilet?
