We recently built our house. I wish we had put more practical thought into how we would use the mudroom and how we would build in storage. We live in central IL so our needs change from season to season but ideally we needs space for baskets (hats/mittens/etc) shoes, place to hang coats, place for backpacks/purse. Any suggestions welcome! This is one area I've really struggled with coming up with a good plan. I've included the floor plan and a couple photos of the space.
