I have kraftmaid plywood construction. They accidentally sent me a cabinet in the pressed wood and it was much more cheaply made. I have the chery Montclair and love it. Go with the best cabinet you can afford.

I am just about to make that decision, and because my location is humid Florida, I am going with Evercore. It resists contraction/expansion, is easy to clean, and is more impervious to water. The boxes are all laminated and the drawers are dovetailed wood. I currently have wood cabinets and they are deteriorating. Also, I live with men who are not careful, so I am going for beautiful but practical.
