Bay window treatments in Victorian home

I have 2 similar bay windows, one in my living room and one in my dining room. The windows don't open, the hardware was removed by prior owner. The top windows are all leaded glass and the bottoms are old wavy glass. The living room ones get lots of afternoon sun, the dining not so much.
All of the woodwork has been stripped, but will be painted again, probably something in the white family. There is one other window(double hung) in each room.
I'm open to curtains, blinds, shades, etc.

For the living room, classic Roman shades would look great on the larger windows (leave the upper leaded glass windows untreated). If the furniture and style of this room is more traditional, fuller "balloon" shades could work well also.

For the dining room, drapes would help soften the space and help the room feel a bit more "finished". For fabric, look for a medium-scaled pattern, which would help balance all the solid surfaces and add interest to the room. If the heater underneath the window is functional, then it may be best to use Roman shades here, too.

The windows and rooms are beautiful. I suggest shades because there's no room for stackback for curtains. Silhouettes are pretty, Roman shades are also a possibility. Wood slat blinds that can be adjusted for sunlight may give you another option. Cellular shades are good, too; they are energy efficient but look quite contemporary.

The heater is functional, but I'm having it removed and replaced with a recessed one in the wall. I just removed balloon shades from the other 2 windows that are in each room. They had been up for the last 30 years, time for a change.

Any color ideas? both the blue and the apricot are going.

Based on these photos, the furnishings appear to be fairly neutral, so you can really go in almost any direction with color. It would be best to stay with light-to-medium tones to keep the rooms from becoming too dark. For color-inspiration, perhaps pull a favorite color from a painting, fabric, or accessory in the room. Just be sure that the colors you select compliment the existing wall colors in the other rooms of the house.

Try a relaxed roman fabric shade. It's not as swoopy and saggy as a ballon but it is a softer look than a traditional roman. A lined bamboo or matchstick shade would also work.

Are shutters totally out of the question? Painted cream; mounted in the natural wood of the windows. Someone painstakingly stripped those windows of 100 years of paint....
