Small ensuite

Hi I have a question about an ensuite bathroom. We are using dark tile for the floor and doing a tiled shower. The bathroom is not very big. Is it better to stay uniform and do the shower floor the same as the bathroom floor to make it appear l so chopped up and bigger. The sides of the shower will be white subway tile. I am not sure yet if the vanity will be white or espresso.

You want the floor of the shower to be smaller tile so there's more traction. I think if you want minimal choppage, just match it to either the shower walls or the bathroom floor, assuming you have both options in a mesh mosaic or the like. Otherwise, a different but coordinating tile (say, white pebbles) or even a solid shower base could work out fine.
