Problems as in similar nutrient and water needs or what? Tomato plants will shade the onions eventually but since onions are planted so much earlier than tomato plants the onions should get a good head start.

The second bed is all cucumbers? Then the only issue that comes to mind is that if you have a pest or disease issue it will wipe out the whole crop with them all together.

The last bed again has very different planting times - lettuce and spinach early, all the squash are planted later and depending on the varieties of squash the vines will take over the bed.

Most dill plants get 3' tall so access to the bed may be limited.

I agree with Dave and would also point out that in 7a, most of the cool weather stuff on your list like onions, lettuce, spinach should already have been planted out to take advantage of the cooler weather before the heat kicks in.

I will put the dill on the corners of the beds since they grow tall. The tomato beds will have cucumber as well. Whats the earliest I should get onions in? Last year I think it was late and nothing populated. The leafy greens lettuce, spinach, kale I will start next month when the farm opens for the lettuce plants. The kale and spinach I will put the seeds in directly. Once the lettuce season concludes I will swap out with more tomato plants. This is the first year I am planting kale, spinach any advice?

Well like Jack said in your zone onions were planted a good month ago depending on if you are in the long-day or short day band for onions. Mine were all planted in February. Spinach, kale and lettuce should all be direct seeded anyway and are already planted and coming up for many in zone 6 and 7 - transplants for them have been for sale here for a couple of weeks at least, maybe longer. If you wait another month then they will likely bolt from the heat before you get much.

The past 2 years I planted the lettuce mid apr and had lettuce until late June. My coworker had kale planted and it went through the winter. I am going to plant the seeds this weekend its supposed to be cold.
