Oh my, what beautiful blooms. Your photography is great too. I do have a problem though I must have Candace. I just told my husband I wasn't going to get any more roses this year but you have made that impossible to stick to. Now to find Candace and plan my strategy to tell him it's only one more!

I love 'Ebb Tide' when it's that color. 'Candice' is a pretty stripe. Wonder if the two of them would look well together?

The 2nd pic of 'Peace'. Aaahhhh.

You have some nice pictures there. Your Angel Face bush looks happy. Also, your camera appears to be doing a good job with some of the red and purple colors.

Lovely pics - particularly happy to see Ebb Tide which I planted last November and truly hope I get the same colour on mine. I believe it is one of those roses that change depending on the weather.

Candice is totally beautiful - HMF and Ludwigs mention a few stripes but yours are quite prominent. Hope it does well for you.

Thank you everyone. The rain we received recently in northern California has helped a lot. All my roses are really happy. Only a few opened blooms now but there are plenty of buds and I can't wait for the rest when they finally open.

BethC, I ran into similar problem when I ordered more roses this year too, but I convinced my husband that I'm still learning about roses, so I will remove some roses that didn't perform well to make rooms for the new ones and he is OK with it.

Irisgal, I think Candice and Ebb Tide will look nice together. Peace is a star performer in my garden. It blooms even in winter time. Being in one of the best sunny spots of my garden helps it a lot too.

Ozmelody, since I can't order Osiria anymore, Snow Ruby is what I can have that close to Osiria's color.

Sutekesk, I think Ebb Tide will look amazing in your garden. Thanks to all the rose enablers here, I ordered Candice from Ludwigs and I'm so glad I ordered it. It is a beautiful rose.

Gorgeous roses!! Crap... now I'm gonna hafta go ahead and order CANDICE. Your pics are the best I've seen of it so far! And that EBB TIDE is beautiful. Mine never looks that good... I know SNOW RUBY is a mini-flora, but what size are the blooms? HMF doesn't say.

Thank you Carol and Beth. I love rose cups, too :)

LOL Beth. I thought you are one of the people who enabled me to buy Candice. My Snow Ruby's bloom is about 1.5 - 2".

More beauties!! I'm about a week behind you. Altho, I actually had quite a lot of blooms in Jan & Feb. But those were leftovers from Fall that finally opened. My first "spring" blooms are just starting to open up. The rain kinda stunted a few of them. I took some pics this morning, but didn't have time to post before going to the shop. So maybe I'll post them tonight.

I was going to order CANDICE in the beginning, but I had to pare the list down for the first order from Ludwigs. There were a few I wanted more. But I will definitely order her next time!!

Not sure how I missed this thread, Helen. I love seeing all your beautiful roses! They're so lovely! I always look forward to your pictures! I hope you post a picture of Peter Mayle when the blooms open. I started to name my favorites, too many, so I'll just say I love them all!

    Thank you all.

I bought Lynn Anderson own root from HeirloomRoses last year and it has been growing really well and produces gorgeous blooms.

My Mr. Lincoln is a tree rose and it's on my shovel prune list to go to my mom's garden. I bought it as potted rose from Home Depot and for more than three year it has just performed under average compared with my other tree roses. I wonder if it understood what I was thinking because so many blooms are popping up right now. I will leave it alone (I'm not sure because it performs well now or it is because it took me so much work to move a tree rose last time :)

Sara, I will be sure to take Peter Mayle pics. I like it so much I have two Peter Mayle in my garden and they are both healthy and produce the majority of my cut flowers for my family and friends. Helen.
