Thanks for the advice. What about changing the shade of grey on the walls? Or making it white? The room could use a new coat of paint.

I have a grey and white powder room and use colored towels. For spring/summer, I use yellow, grey and white towels, and fresh yellow daffodils or tulips. I've also seen shower curtains in yellow and grey or grey and blue. In the winter, I used red or white towels and flowers. I also have candles in coordinating colors that I light when I have guests. How about a really cool wallpaper on your sink wall? just gave my 1/2 bath a face lift with a really cool "trellis" inspired wall paper in black and white on the sink wall only - hung a "venetian inspired" mirror over the vanity...and done! looks great.

I like the idea of doing a white on the walls. I think there are too many shades of grey going on now. Some are warm and some are cool and they don't quite work together. Because the marble is busy, I'd stick with a solid color shower curtain with some texture. As suggested above, add color with artwork and towels.

Marble surfaces & grey walls will give you a less than warm cozy feeling. Start with a color you like in a shower curtain. Then choose towels to coordinate. Keep your eyes open for some prints to hang on the walls (above the toilet & on the larger wall). Add a small rug to place in front of the sink to coordinate with your choices. Paint the walls in the room if you still have the feeling it needs more warmth. Ideas:
