I don't think you have to worry yet. Give them some time to settle in after the snow is gone and once the ground is thawed. It would help to know what kind of alliums you planted.

OK so these are ornamentals? Sorry I was assuming culinary alliums. There is quite a variety of adaptations and hardiness levels among the alliums as a genus - there are a lot of species, and some of the species are quite variable depending on the part of the range they are from. Contact Brecks, they will probably be able to advise you and very likely are able to look up just what you bought from them.

My BIL who is a horticulturalist says it could be potassium deficiency...??
