Brown tips

Hello...I planted Allium bulbs last fall and now I am noticing they are coming up but the tips are brown? Any idea what is going on? I'm in Zone 4...Wisconsin. We had a mild winter and some warm days. My daffs are also emerging but their foliage looks great!

If they started to come up last fall like mine did, those overwintering leaves very often show brown tips as spring wears on; the new growth should not, unless your bed needs watering already. I have used the sprinkler hose on mine twice already this spring here in Minneapolis. When we get an early spring like this year, the top of the beds may get drier than it should if the spring rains hold off too long.
