We used concealed cabinet hinges - Hafele have their own range or you can use Blum hinges too. The concealed hinges allow you to use soft close mechanisms on the doors which you can't do as much with traditional butt/mortise hinges.

Are the cabinets frameless? They look like they have thin rails and stiles, but is that just the ends of the plywood? I really like the combination, but have only seen inset frameless European hinges. Do you just flush the inside of the cabinet to the face frame? Thanks again for posting!

The doors are inset into the frames and the doors do have a frame and panel which I think is the same as rails and stiles.
