Loving your house. I would go with a slate gray to bring out the wood siding.

I agree with gray, but I would go with a light silvery gray. You don't want to much contrast from the white brick to the wood, especially since the brick is so high on the garage. Also I suggest you put up some lattace in a few areas and grow vines such as morning glory, or trumpet vine, etc.

a light gray will keep the house from being top heavy. lattice with vines as pyramid suggested would draw the eye away from all of the concrete. a trellis over the garage planted with flowering vines would also be good. a bight turquoise, cobalt, red or orange front door.

okay steve, i like the 2nd 3rd examples because the 3 colors are broken up. i just wouldn't want to see all of the siding go slate. a mix would be good.

So you think cooler grays rather than warmer browns? We just purchased the house and want to bring it to life! Should we leave the brick white?

I'm saying the brick should be gray. You already have a mix of brown wood. Why would you paint the brick brown?!!?

My wife wants to paint the wood more brown and leave the brick as is. I am digging your idea of grey brick.

leave the light brick around the front door section(?probably be too much contrast and it should also be slate but i'd like to see it?)

I'd paint some large swatches... But my favorite color is BM Raintree... A green with grey overtones... Would look nice if you keep the painted brick a light color... A very natural color that doesn't intrude.

We think we have decided on Benjamin Moore Graphite #1603 for the brick. We are still up in the air on the siding! A redwood color similar to what is already on the siding or a coolor shade of gray like Benjamin Moore color Timberwolf #1600. If we go with the gray we will then stain all of the wood accents ( fences, deck and beams) a redwood color?!?! Thoughts?

I like the brick as it is and would work with it. My understanding is that exterior painted brick is very costly to maintain. Even the smallest chip in the paint will really stand out. To later change it or get it back to what it is now would be big money and big work. Why wouldn't one of the grays work with the natural brick?
