I clean my house about every 2 weeks. I chose monthly since I did not have that option.

• daily surface clean: kitchen, bathroom, dining room
• weekly surface clean, but not on a set schedule: bedrooms, living areas, workshop
• monthly deep clean: bathrooms, kitchen
• annual deep clean: walls, windows
• annual declutter: all areas

Not as often as I should but, have physical limitations. Would love to be able to afford twice monthly for the big stuff.

The living rooms, summer sitting area and kitchens need daily wipe over and sweep, bedrooms tidying and making beds, taking laundry daily. Every room gets a once a week full cleaning including windows, and fridges, doors etc.. I have a schedule marking what gets done each day of the week, since it is a big house. Weekends I try to lessen the load and have no major cleaning day on those days just tidying.

I am a very untidy person so I need to always tidy up and pick up after myself. However as for all out cleaning. One a week tops and then it's not perfect! Obviously things like the kitchen and bathroom need going over daily.

I don't dislike cleaning. However, if it's between cleaning everything in the whole place or going to do something more interesting, it's definately the alternative. Life is too short to spend so much time being spotless constantly.

Once every 3 months I go top to bottom all out. And in between?! Ah what ever I feel like!

I know people who enjoy cleaning and do it extensively everyday. Not my thing.
