I thought that too, but it does not get any bigger than this and no flowers, at least from what i remember. Lol. I think that boxwood gets really big. I am trying to grow cuttings from it, but in case they do not take, I wanted to buy more. Its just so hard to get a clear id on this. Thank you , I will add it to my list of possibles. ; )

Buxus sempervirens grows v-e-r-y slowly so it is somewhat easy to assume that it doesn't grow at all :-) And even dwarf English boxwood (B. sempervirens 'Suffruticosa') will grow quite a bit larger than expected, if allowed the time and space to do so.

And ALL boxwood bloom, although the flowers themselves are not overly noticeable. Usually it's the bees and other pollinators that clue you into the fact that plant is in bloom. If no bloom at all, it may be because pruning has removed flower buds or the plant is in a lot of shade.

Oh Okay, I didn't know that. Yes it appears it hasn't grown at all. We have lived here 3 yrs, the ppl before us 2 yrs and the original owners lived here for 8 yrs. We assume the original owners put in the boxwoods since they built they house. These boxwoods are in full shade and I just love them! I want to line the front of the house with them since we do not have anything covering the deck space between the ground and bottom of deck. Its just too hard to put lattice in this space. The two boxwoods we have do a great job of covering that space. Thank you so much for the information. ; )

Box grows pretty easily from cuttings if you want to grow your own extras of the same shrub.

If you prowl some independent garden centers you may find this same kind on display, now or later in the season.
