What color should I paint my kitchen walls?

The backsplash in my kitchen was installed today and I love it!!! However, I dont know what color to paint the walls. I was thinking of a golden ivory color or a gold color. What suggestions do you have? I have attached pictures of my kitchen and breakfast area.
