In what way are you disappointed? layout? finishes? I doubt they will rebuild a large closet because you just vaguely dislike it, but if there are concrete details that didn't come out the way you hoped, they might be willing to alter those. Or I'm sure they're willing to start from scratch if you've totally changed your mind, but probably at your cost.

Have done a few closets and always been very pleased. But I'm in it more for the functionality than for any kind of glamor...

The sample we saw and loved looks nothing like the final product. I like the design just not the wood type. We did not think it would look so stripy. We thought the grain would appear more blended and the difference of the colors would be more subtle.

I know this was 9 years ago, but I just had our Callifornia Closet installed yesterday and am brutally disappointed. It was the designer's 2nd closet so she is young and new. But she didn't give me enough long hanging space; didn't realize that my husband is tall and his shirts and pants are are LONG so his hanging space is too short. He had to move his shirts down and offered me space for my pants (I am short!) , so his shirts are crammed in.

I don't want to be a jerk about it but this was a LOT of money. When I saw the CAD design I thought perhaps my long hanging space looked small, but figured it was the drawing.

What to do? She is coming out next week.
