it should be durable enough for what you plan on doing. the doors may need a bit of a touch up every couple of years, from hand grim and dirt, but rubio is very user friendly and will blend nicely for spot repairs.

its durable enough to use on floors and can withstand a beating. but does need maintenance on floors to keep looking nice, trim you probably wont need to do as much upkeep.

I've never used Monocoat. Looking at the SDS it's not much information there about what it really is and the description is not much better. That always raises my suspicions about a product. Anyone know what it really is other than "natural oils???"

Umm, flax seed oil is the same as linseed oil. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linseed_oil  Suspicions heightened.

I think the whole flax instead of linseed might just be a marketing gimmick.

Every eco friendly consumer knows flax seed is great in their diet, now it's also great in your floor finish! A floor healthy enough to eat off of!

The majority of the general population probably has zero idea Flax = Linseed.

It's a European brand so it's very possible the terminology is different. For instance, safflower is called rapeseed over there.
