Does this rug work?

We just installed natural maple flooring throughout most of the house and we are in process of painting walls a medium grey. We were thinking color combo Grey, Teal and Yellow throughout home. I love this rug however does it blend in to much with floors?? This is formal living room. We still need to paint walls and get some lamps and decorations, will that help the rug? Or is it a no go? :) thank you for the advice and help!!

Not right color and needs to be larger. Try pulling it under the front 1/3 of the sofas to anchor them in the room. Then see how much bigger it needs to be in order to align properly with the entry as it does now.

Sorry but the color is not complementary to any colors or finishes you have so far. Yellow gold would not be the direction I would select for a rug on this floor.

Roll up the rug and take the love seat with it. The matching sofa and loveseat combo has been outlawed in most states;)

Floor is very busy so choose a solid rug.

Pretty boring rug IMO if you want yellow and teal for accents they need to have a connection to something so get a rug with those colors in it somewhere and get 2 chairs and nix the loveseat and the rug needs to be bigger something like this would be a great improvement

Need a chevron or diamond pattern with charcoal and complimentary colours. Must be big enough so couch feet are on rug.

Thank you so much for all your time and help. We can't afford to change the furniture and I actually really like the love seat and couch. Of course we can return the rug and I will be doing that today and taking your guys advice to find a larger more fitting color! Thank you again. Amber

Would you entertain the idea of a rug with slate blue, indigo or navy in it? I think that could work well with the color palate you are interested in and could provide some contrast. I'm on my phone so I can't post links, but something that's not a super dark navy.

Amber, you have a fairly formal space yet the latest rug selected is very casual. Might be better suited for a playroom. Not sure why you are set on yellow with grey when there are so many other options to correlate with the grey of the sofas.
