Actually the lights in this photo are only for photography purposes. We do not put lights in cabinets because if you have a Pull out shelf you do not need to light the cabinet. Everything is outside of the cabinet.

I have personally put under cabinet lighting in my own home and I ran a switched outlet to plug the lights in. I know that some lighting systems have switches where lights will come on when you open the door. However all of these require an outlet and lots of wiring to accomplish this.
