Oh, happy day!!!

Today I had to drive to the other side of the county (Home Depot) and of course I had to also make a stop at Joann's. Well, let me tell you, I got some quilting fabric for one-fifty a yard!!! They had the red tag sale fifty percent off and there were actually some QUILTING fabric there!!! Woo-Hoo!!! Some was originally only $3 a yard and one was $4 a yard, the most expensive one I bought was $5 a yard. There were some at six and seven a yard but I stuck with the really cheap stuff.

Hi Carolnv...reading the posts lately, I realized you must be in NV...My name is Carol as well and I'm also in NV..... Henderson to be exact. I literally work 2 minutes from the Joanns & Hobby Lobby in Henderson. So dangerous if I decide to venture out at lunch time. The cutting line at Joanns often makes me late going back :) But their sales lately are irresistible. I have so much fabric now that I have to force myself not to buy any more until I start working on what I have. Any way, I just wanted to introduce myself to a quilting neighbor. Hope you get lots of good deals today.

I do wish I had a Joann's close enough. There are several in Detroit, but I don't drive there. Maybe I could hire a chauffeur!

I'm heading into Vegas today and have a stop at Joann's on my list, I heard it's a great sale! It's very windy here, so I'll decide when I'm there if I want to make that little detour, if not there's a Hobby Lobby close to where I have to go!

durango118/Carol - that is dangerous working so close by to both stores! I did go to Joanns, the one off Rainbow. As I was driving there I remembered that a new Hobby Lobby opened up nearby. But after spending money at Joanns I decided enough was enough and I should head home, the wind also helped make that decision! But I am quite happy with what I got and have some projects to work on once again! Nice to know there's another person ion NV. And one with such a great name!!

Quilting is my hobby and I always say buying fabric is part of it whether I need it or not. It is so much fun to hit upon a super sale and be able to buy double the fabric you had really planned on. Happy Day!
