Kitchen undercabinet lighting

Hi folks. I'm renovating few things around my kitchen (countertops, backsplash, etc) and would like to add under cabinet lighting now that I'm doing the backsplash (so the wiring could be done). My kitchen has no windows and natural light comes indirectly from the front windows and back patio door. I'm installing glass tiles so to help light bouncing around. What type of lights (fluorescent, LED, etc) are recommended? I'm concerned about LED fixture for which light bulbs could not be replaced. Is that a realistic concern or just my imagination? I shy away from cold, blue-ish lights. What is the spacing? Any product that has been proven to be good out there? What do I need to avoid? As you can tell I'm a newbie on this so any help would be greatly appreciated.
