We ended up going with Vicostone's Misterio. It wasn't much more expensive and is way ahead in quality (Difiniti just felt sort of cheap to us, like there was more resin or something), in addition to having a much more beautiful, Carrera-like pattern. I hope you find a good option for your project!

We looked at what felt like every single option for marble-esque Quartz. It wasn't actually that extensive, but we felt like the Viareggio and most others were just too veiny (like spiderwebs or something). They didn't look natural at all. We also looked at Difiniti Massa, but again we didn't like the material and the pattern was very subtle and a little too beige. We also looked at Cambria, as well as Silestone blanco Orion, Lyra, and Ariel. Those, like the Difiniti Viareggio, were just too busy for our taste. Hope this helps a bit!

Viareggio is very realistic in person. Where are you located? You can go see full slabs with certain fabricators and wholesalers.

We saw it in person and it was not what we had in mind for a carerra lookalike. We already had our Vicostone installed.

i am in Wisconsin. I had Definiti Viareggio installed a year ago in our master bath. I also looked at every brand for a marble look alike. I actually got samples of the real marble I liked and took it with me to compare to the quartz samples. in my opinion, Viarreggio actually looked the most like real carrara marble out of all the brands, even more expensive - the most convincing fake. You can still tell it is fake if you look close, but it looks a decent fake nevertheless. Many other quartzes looked grainy close up, like you can see tiny dots. Or too white. Or too busy. Viareggio has this milky bluish grayish look of the real marble, and our slab did not have beige in it, just grey veining. I wasn't price shopping, as it was a fairly small countertop, so it would not have made that much difference which brand we used. I went with it. Love the look. We have had it since April 2015. So far it wears well. I have just recently noticed a tiny pin head size spot or two where it seems to have scratched or etched. Maybe it is hard water deposits, though. However, all this being said, when I researched this product later, I discovered that this particular line of Definiti is made by PolarStone, which is a Chinese company. I wasn't too happy that this wasn't disclosed at the time of purchase. I just don't trust anything chinese on principle. So, we are now remodeling the second bathroom, and I decided to try something else. Today I went around several showrooms and looked at marble looking quartz samples again. Honestly, excluding Definiti, my favorite was Vicostone for looks, which is made in Vietnam :) Then, Zodiac Neve and Caesarstone. I think, I am going with Zodiac Neve for this bathroom. I hope this helps. Last word on Chinese products - they can be made very well, it is just that the consistency is not there. You can end up with something great, or a lemon. Whatever you choose, look at the entire slab. We were looking at Cambria and I fell in love with one from a 12 inch by 12 inch sample...but when I saw the entire slab, I hated it - the veining was so fake.

Yes! Seeing the whole slab is absolutely crucial. It can look like an entirely different stone and design if you compare the tiny sample to the whole slab.

We are considering Difiniti Olimpico and am wondering if there is any further input on the Difiniti after even more time. I find the pattern very subtle and marble-like. We can't do Vicostone Misterio because the background is too white for our fixtures. Would love to hear additional comments.
