Worth Keeping?

last modified: 10 years ago

This forlorn looking geranium was a lush, beautiful specimen last year. I normally discard the plants after the spring/summer season (long, hot summers & a western exposure in southeast Georgia is brutal). However, I decided to keep them (it's one of two) over the winter and see what happened. Well, they're still alive, albeit leggy with tiny leaves. Should I cut them down to nubs, give them some fertilizer and see what happens?
