I doubt if there will be any sewing this weekend, but I'm gonna try. I have a baby quil to sandwich, maybe that will happen Sunday. Friends for dinner tonight and a sick dog have my time occupied for now. If you ever had a dog, or any pet, who suddenly start having seizures, you know how upsetting it can be...that's where we are for now...breaking my heart.

Congrats LInda! I plan to put some more of my Allietari together this weekend. It has become a leader ender really. Valerie, we had a dog that suddenly started having seizures. We eventually found out it was from low blood sugar. He had severe hypoglycemia. Hope you find out what is causing your dog to have them. It is so hard to watch.

I managed to get my tumbler lap quilt sandwiched and pinned to start quilting and did some cross-stitch work that will continue into this weekend. We are still camping so walking and checking out the wildlife and reading 3 books have taken up my normal at-home quilting time.

I hope to do a bit of sewing. Need to finish a UFO or two. First I gotta catch the mouse in the ceiling. First mouse ever in the house and I am bound to get it. Put out glue traps last night, but nothing yet.

Linda, Congratz on your new grandson. Valarie, Sorry your doggie is having problems. I hate when that happens. Beverly, I would offer our kitties to help catch your mouse, but it apparently isn't listed in their contract as they just like to play hide and seek with them.

I'm finishing up on the 3rd set of squares for my cousin so hopefully I can complete those tomorrow. Other than that, I don't feel motivated to start another top so maybe I'll finish the quilting on the Ins and Outs quilt that's partially quilted. :-)

Linda, congratulations! How exciting ... and happy mama and baby are doing well. Valarie, I hope you figure out what is going on with your dog. It is hard when our furry family has health problems because they can't tell us what is going on. Poor baby.

We have our grandDOG for the weekend. She will go home later this afternoon. We went to the home & garden show and looking at RVs with friends yesterday. We did stop at a quilt shop to pick up a book and tool I ordered. It's Strippy Stars by Deb Heatherly and also got a new tool to make the stars. I am anxious to give it a try. Friday night I did finish another UFO and then sandwiched another quilt and started quilting it. I have it almost ready for the binding - hoping to get it done this afternoon. I have lots of weeds calling my name, but it is kind of chilly outside so the sewing machine is calling louder!

Val, I had that problem with a dog we rescued. She was going through heartworm treatment when she had the seizure (it only happened once). We called our vet and he told us to rub honey on her gums and call him back if it didn't work. It worked. It might not be applicable to your situation, but it would tell you pretty quickly if it's a blood sugar issue. I hope your puppy is better soon.

I didn't get to do any quilting, as I had to work all weekend.

I almost finished sewing another Sweetheart Twister wall hanging, started on the June block lotto sewing and spent the rest of the weekend straightening up my craft room - it was a disaster area!
