My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Hello sorry for the long response but we started to draw the the idea out. but this is the best way we thought about it. We installed a steel plate in the ceiling in order to provide support. You will definitely want to plan on installing some sort of blocking in the ceiling in addition to your existing joists/framing to support something like this!
