BAD SANDING JOB

What do you think? Can it pass for rustic? It's a 50 yr old oak floor that was refinished. We have two more coats of polyurethane left to do. 1 st time refinishing and we made mistakes but too expensive to redo at this point unless it's just to bad..... Thoughts??

From what I can see from your dark photos, it looks like you did a good job. If you will post some better photos, especially in daylight, we will be able to tell you honestly if it looks good or not.

Really can’t tell but you will need to lightly sand between coats worst case it will have a rustic feel

It does look a little rustic, but it looks like the color is what is giving that appearance, not the sanding and refinishing. A bad sanding job would leave the floor uneven, or gritty. But it looks smooth to me. You can always apply more polyurethane if it is a little rough. And buffing between layers can help to smooth it.
